The Rivelin Ruffle Dress is a sleeveless dress with a lined and fitted bodice, a tiered gathered skirt and an invisible zip down the side. In order to sew this pattern, you will need the following supplies:
> Fabric (refer to fabric requirements chart below).
> Lining fabric for the bodice (can be the same as your main fabric).
> Matching thread.
> 40cm / 15.7” concealed / invisible zip.
> 1 hook and eye fastening (optional).

We suggest using light to medium weight woven fabrics with drape to help accent the gathers and create an elegant floaty dress.
We recommend using cotton lawn, linen, ramie, viscose, rayon, Tencel, georgette, chiffon, challis, double gauze, or crepe de chine. The bodice is lined, so either choose a fabric which is lighter than your main fabric for this, or simply cut the lining out of your main fabric.
